There are some cases you need to shut down the system after a particular job done. Mostly, those jobs consume a large amount of time, so you prefer to leave the system doing the job itself and go elsewhere to take a rest. Unfortunately, there are a few programs do this for you such as video editors, 3D editors, virus scanners, etc.
For other programs lacking of this feature, you may find Shutdown After useful. Simply launch it, and tell it the estimated time the job will take to accomplish. The countdown timer will run, and once it hits zero, it will turn off, log off or hibernate the system automatically.
