Easy Thumbnails 3.0 will create thumbnails from a single image or even from a collection of large images. You can adjust the size of thumbnails, the sharpness, the brightness, the quality and other common properties like an usual image.

Moreover, Easy Thumbnails 3.0 is totally free and easy to use for both novice and experienced users. And one of the most advantages of this software is the ability to support a wide range of picture formats (JPG, GIF, PNG, EMF, PCX, …)

Here are some basic steps to use this Easy Thumbnails:

  • In the Tab File:
    • Look in: select the folder to load large images from
    • Files of type: choose the picture format of thumbnails you want to create
    • Save in: choose the folder to save all the created thumbnails to.
  • In the Tab Setting: adjust properties of thumbnails you want to create such as: change the max width and max height of thumbnails; or adjust the contrast, the brightness, the sharpness and the quality of thumbnails (only for JPEG)
  • Now back to Tab File: All large images in the folder you have chosen before in the Look in textbox will be shown here. Select each image or select all to create thumbnails from all images in this folder. Click Make or Make All to start creating thumbnails. You may preview the thumbnail as well by clicking on the tab Preview Output in the right panel.
That’s all you have to do to create thumbnails. Easy Thumbnails was a 2002 Shareware Industry Awards nominee because of the ease and the quick this tool brings to users.
